Turn A Gundam

Notes

• Manual: MG 1/100 WD-M01 Turn A Gundam, Bandai 2007 (code 0150536), the 100th MG kit. Printed pages 1–20, continuous: assembly steps 1–19 on pages 6–9 and 12–19; pages 2 and 10–11 are articles, page 20 is the colour guide. No pages missing.
• No polycaps: the joints are ABS plastic (runners F, G, H, I). 12 runner sheets in the box, one of each: A–J, HM-1, SB-7. The plastic chain and 2 chain connectors come loose in the box (not cut from a runner, not counted).
• The right arm (step 3) and left arm (step 4), right shoulder (5) and left shoulder (6), right leg (9) and left leg (10) are drawn separately, so each step counts once. Step 8 makes 2 ankles; the second ankle uses the parts printed in brackets.
• Manual marks: ◀▶ = part for the opposite side, both parts are used (H-38/H-39, E-4/E-6, E-3/E-5, saber racks and hilts in step 18); ▶|◀ = same part on both sides (F-1 ×2 in step 13-2); ×9 box = make 9 (HM-1① in step 17); ●▲ = choose one.
• Choose-one parts are still counted so the runners are cut clean: chest cross piece B-1 or C-17 (step 1-3); open hands D-6 + G-20 and G-31 + D-7 instead of the articulated hands (steps 3-2, 4-2). Also counted: both SB-7① saber blades (the manual draws 1), the standing Loran figure C-8 (display as you like), the cow figure C-9 (fits in the chest bay in place of the Core Fighter) and H-3 (used to press the chest open and as the plug for Action Base 1, sold separately).
• Steps 7 (upper body), 14 (final assembly, Core Fighter transformation) and 19-1 to 19-4 (holding and mounting weapons) add no new parts. Stickers ア, イ are listed by step; the only Gundam decal shown is F in step 2 (application on page 3).
• Checked against the runner list (pages 4–5): every number is used exactly as many times as it appears on the runners, 268 in total. Two independent transcriptions match.
